I had to opportunity to meet Laura D'Antoni today after meeting her at the Business Journal mixer and Arizona's Women Networking group. With all the businesses struggling to keep their head above water, let alone turn a profit, Laura's company is in the right place at the right time. I learned more about her role at Expense Reduction Analyts and not only how impressive her work is there but also what led her down this intriguing road. Born in Kentucky, Laura easily exudes a self confidence and genuinely friendly disposition. After her 20 years experience in technology and starting her own company as an independant consultant, she landed an opportunity to incorporate all her skills and experience together. I was suprised to find out that she is able to save companies anywhere from 5-45% on their overall expenses. She spends countless hours evaluating their office supplies, freight costs, merchant card processing, packing, payroll processing, insurance and telecommunications (wait, that's me!). After a cocktail or two, Laura and I discovered we had a lot in common from our smalll town upbringings, our collegiate athlete experiences and now our joint desire to succeed by actually helping companies save money! When I asked Laura how she makes her money I was suprised when she said, "I only get paid if I can save them money, the more they save the more I make." What an ingenious business model! I can honestly say, I don't think there is a business out there, big or small, that would not benefit from the services Laura can provide at Expense Reduction Analyst!
